Drained attributes

Post » Sun Dec 13, 2009 9:57 pm

Hi, some [censored] in a cave drained my strength and endurance and I don't know how to permanently restore my attributes. I used some restore strength and endurance potions but they didn't permantly restore my attributes. The only mod I have installed is a mod that adds boots for Argonians and Khajiit to wear. Thanks.

Get to a Imperial Cult altar and get restored. Always carry a Divine Intervention scroll for this reason.

edit: If you don't have one, unfortunately you'll have to drop some of your loot to leave.

Thank you. I have a couple of those scrolls, a mark amulet and a recall amulet so I can teleport to one and teleport back :) . Hopefully Skyrim will have some teleportation spells.

I find it extremely useful to have a weak Restore Strength enchantment put on some item (you probably have a fair chance to do it yourself at 1 point for 2 or 3 seconds if you took Enchanting a a minor, or else pay to have it done), and use it repeatedly as needed. That will gradually recharge over time, so you don't have to keep replacing scrolls or potions. It's either that, carry a heap of Restore scrolls or potions, learn the spell and have sufficient Restoration skill to cast it, or at least have some means of casting an Intervention spell if you intend to dungeon-dive, because of those hated Greater Bonewalkers and a few occasional NPC casters.

In the case of diseases lowering your attributes, you need to cure the disease; restoring the attributes won't work.

Thanks for that information

to 12? i had 0 today in lokken :toughninja:

i go to a mage and make two spells: restore fight and restore magefight. each of them rstores 4 attributes 5 points on self and cost 2 mana (or 4 mana?) each. very simple. very effective.

you only need one restore attribute spell for it - you may buy it in the balmora temple upstairs.
