Draugr Dragonborn?

Post » Thu Sep 10, 2015 11:54 am

While I was playing Skyrim a thought popped into my head about the way of the voice. It was a normal Tuesday, clearing out a ruin of 1000 year old draugr with my good old buddy Belrand nothing unusual when we started fighting a Draugr deathlord, I let Belrand charge ahead while I hid behind a table I noticed that he was using shouts, It was not the first time I saw a draugr use shouts but its moments when your hiding behind tables do you get questions and ideas. Were Draugr past dragonborns because they have the way of the voice, As then as belrand shouted "SKYRIM BELONGS TO THE NORDS" for no reason I wondered if there was a mod which gives draugr ancient shouts. If there is can someone please tell me and link me or for the first in forever I would not spend my free time stalking Hroki. So thanks for any help and as usel Talos Guide You

Would be quite unusual if every draugr deathlord was a dragonborn, wouldn't it?

Dragonborns can learn shouts more easily, but everyone else can learn shouts too, although it takes lots of effort. Skyrim has a long history of shouting, but by the fourth era it has fallen into obscurity as a form of magic. The only ones seen shouting are:

-The Last Dragonborn

-Draugr Deathlords (because shouting used to be more common)

-Ulfric Stormcloak (was going to be a greybeard)

-The Greybeards (study all their life)

[DRAGONBORN DLC SPOILER]

Spoiler

-The Ebony Warrior (because he's a very experienced fighter)

-Miraak (first Dragonborn)

And welcome to the forums. Someone should be bringing you a fishy stick in a while.

Draugrborn, Draugrborn

By their honor are sworn

To shuffle along in barrows all day

And the fact that they Shout

Is what this thread is about

Draugrborn, Draugrborn

In Skyrim they play

As pointed out, mortals can learn to shout. Dragonborn just have an innate knowledge of the Thu'um.

You missed the First Tongues.

There should be a mod which sends your follower away for like a week to learn a shout of your choice or even better yet you can share the knowledge with them. I think that will be a really good mod
