a dream journal

does anyone on here keep a dream Journal?

I often wake up, still aware of a strange dream I had, fall back asleep and completely forget about what was in my dream.

so, I decided to keep a Dream Journal to record my strange dreams, but since I am still half asleep when I wake up from my strange dreams, its nothing but gibberish and I have no idea what the dream could have been about

for an example, here is an entry from a week ago:

I have no idea what the dream could have been about, but thats apparently what I wrote in my dream journal..

anyone else keep a Dream Journal? and if so, is it legible?

Why not voice record a description of your dream? It might be easier to decipher then dazed scribbles.

I don't do this as when I get woken up I don't have the luxury of doing things at my own pace or pausing to collect my thoughts for a moment.

I used to write down dreams that I had as I remembered them (being awake seems to.... rearrange how the dream went), but haven't for a long time. :( One problem that I had was that I occasionally got overly eloquent with descriptive words and bogged down in detail of minutiae, even though they felt important.

Last time I looked over what I had written down I could remember most all of the dreams but one.

Maybe I should start up a dream journal again, I did have a really interesting dream last week that I think would make a great story.
