dreams about video games

many dreams about video games but none of them make sense it would be confusing to explain them "I was exploring and I found a cellar then somebody told me to work there forever I decided to leave the area"
I remember shooting at some yellow creatures they looked like super mutants

My first dream of a video game ever was of Aladdin for the SNES. I just remember flying over Agrabah (sp?) and collecting diamonds floating in the sky. I was not with Jasmine -- I was like 5 or 6 years old.

From then on, i'll usually have dreams involving a game i'm currently playing. I had a couple of LA Noire influenced dreams, and yesterday after playing the witcher 2 for a good 5 hours, I had a dream about that.

Even my 'normal' dreams have gaming elements in them, like health bars, change of maps/levels.

I've managed to Quick Load a couple of times, pretty neat. :D

Last night I didn't have a dream about video games per se, but I did have a dream about Star Wars. I dreamt I was watching or participating in (hard to say which) a sequel to the original trilogy. In the sequel Luke had fallen to the dark side and essentially became a new Darth Vader and he had a son of his own that was trying to stop him. Also C3P0 and R2D2 somehow managed to have a child droid together that looked like a midget C3P0 with R2D2's eye sensor thingy.

I dream about games only when the game's been eating hours of my life.I did have some dreams about Morrowind and Half Life...I think there was one about Left 4 Dead too. Can't remember details about them.I think Vivec appeared in the MW dream, though I'm not sure.

man. think of the lame dreams people must have had about games pre 3d environments (sidescrollers), or even back in the days of pong and pit fall.

@lemunde I don't know what to say about that last bit, but I would support c3po and r2d2 no matter what lifestyle choices they make.

I have a dream that I remember from long ago when I was a child. I was at my grandparents and there was a tornado outside, like literally in the backyard, and everyone ran to the basemant but I was stuck to the computer room chair while the menu music from Army Men played in a loop...frightening :(

Edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zls8QKSgzys was the music, good game btw...

It's weird, I'm not too interested in the horses that will be in Skyrim. But when it was confirmed that you could ride them, I dreamt about it that night. It was strange... I was in this village from the trailer where you can see a horse, and kept thinking "oh right, you can mount horses, I should try that out", so I rode with that horse around, and it had a very distintice red saddle and chestnut brown fur. Then I came to a meadow where there were free-roaming horses, and... they all looked exactly like the one I was riding, including the red saddle, and I thought "Well that's really lame. Free-roaming horses wouldn't have saddles!"
Then I started thinking about how that must've cut development time and it wouldn't bother me that much as I wasn't interested in horses too much anyway... then the dream went to my real life and I was working on my bachelor thesis. (That part svcked.)

Also back when I was playing Morrowind on my crappy old computer, I wasn't able to use the pixel-shaded water because my graphics card was too bad. I was really impressed by the screenshots of the game and always wished I could enable that awesome-looking water. Then one day, I dreamt that I was swimming down the Odai river, and it had waves and the most beautiful reflections ever (much better than the actual ones), and I went diving and swam around and just enjoyed the beauty of the scene. Needless to say, I was very disappointed the next time I played the game.
The funny thing is, by now MGE shaders look exactly like the reflections in my dream, including the waves. I am soooo happy with Morrowind now. :)
