So I'm not much of a drinker. However, Friday after work, I decided to grab some brews from the store and have a night of playing New Vegas, because, hey I'm old enough and there's nobody around to tell me not to.

So, I've got this character that I had originally decided would side with the Legion, because I haven't seen that ending yet or done the missions. I fired up the game, started in on the brews, and probably had a really good time. Problem is, when I get up Saturday morning and get a little NV time in while I think about breakfast options, turns out I royally pissed off both the Legion and NCR.

I have no idea what I did, other than drink way too much beer. I like to think whatever I did to cheese off the Legion, who really liked me before, was really fun and epic, and seemed awesome at the time. I don't remember, lol. What I do know is that I have a level 15 character that has taken a wrong turn, and I'm gonna maybe start another.

So, what about you guys? Ever had a few too many and royally screwed up a game? Funny stories anyone?

I tend not to drink while I game, although I managed a 4:1 KDR in Red Orchestra 2 while drunk once.

ive played some dota2 drunk before, as well as poker night 2. didn't do well at either of them.

although the game i play most when drunk is minecraft, i can do all the grindy stuff that i get too bored of after a couple hours when im drunk. and i can keep drinking and mining/placing thousands of blocks, as i go. so its a win win, i get talky too when i drink so i can chat with people on the server or on skype too. so it works perfectly.

I once got tipsy and tried to play chess...Didn't turn out so well. (???)

I like drunken Halo every once in a while, but its rough on the k/d.

For me it's the Total War series. It's also usually cleaning day. I fire up some Total War, start cleaning, and usually end up with a very clean apartment, an empire in shambles, and a pretty good beer buzz.

I play games drunk quite a bit.

I even played the majority of Fear 3 with my friend while drunk and recorded it! You can watch on my youtube but I won't link it because it's got some inappropriate language, haha. (It also has terrible quality for some reason, I was new to youtube when I uploaded it).

ha you reminded of a party where I was drunk and talking to a fellow drunk partygoer who happened to mention they play Chess...intrigue turned into boasting by both then a drunken Chess game broke out that ended in an unsportsmanlike manner with the king getting thrown out the door

Impossible. I can't even play most first-person games sober without getting heavily nauseated. Playing games drunk would kill me.

I get too tired too fast when I drink. I never have the energy to play games in that state.

Sometimes I'll drink tea or soda while I play games but try not to cause some games can get your adrenaline pumping and kidney's going overtime that it becomes a hassle having to pause every 5 min. to go use the bathroom.

My game of choice when drinking is usually Team Fortress 2. I have way too much fun with the Demoman (which is my main) even when I'm sober, so playing him drunk is just a new way to experience it.

Mine ended with the dude throwing up on the chessboard and me...getting angry lol.

Getting drunk and playing silent hill 2 was fun for me.

Whenever I drink tea I piss like an old man with and overactive bladder...much worse then breaking the beer seal

ha gross, was it your board? My game ended ugly because I was certain he cheated when I was distracted by another party person so I took his king, flung it out the door and said "checkmate b****"

You're a trooper for playing Silent Hill while intoxicated without being bugged out ha. This makes me want to share other similar stories that aren't forum friendly
