Beside install limitations, I've read about some DRMs that do work on computers which would be considered tantamount to malware. Reading back into Sony's history DRM history is an example.
There are plenty of games out on the market today. DRM enabled games are a blacklist to me; I've been burned too many times on DRM games whether by limited installs and/or required internet connection.
I don't want DRM installed on my computer which communicates over the internet for non-game related information transfers.
I happen to have morals conviction not to steal this game but I'm sure the sales team for Crysis2 already know that the rest of the world doesn't work the same way.
Unless there is a DRM free Crysis2 or the game is selling for $10 on a discount rack 5 years from now (there will be a better game by then so gg) I refuse to by games with DRM and there are many in the gaming community who feel the same way. Google is my witness.
DRM does not stop piracy; it just makes angry clients. I hope to see a DRM free Crysis3 in the future; I would buy it at full retail.
