drm info and recommended specs

Post » Fri Jun 03, 2011 11:16 am

I just got my pc version in mail. The box does not have recommended specs, which is strange and console portish.

The game uses solid shield as drm. Although it might use securom as release day check.
The game can be installed upto five computers. and can be authorized and de authorized.

Since it is solidshield it means internet connection is required for installation.

maximum of 5 but theres an option to "deauthorize" the installation which means you get that one back towards your overall 5.

so if you make sure the game is deauthorized on the old pc when you build a new one you will still only be using your first install of 5.

the drm servers will keep track of number of valid activations. The good news it you can install and unistall any number of times on same pc.
One question...is my game deauthorized when i uninstall or i have to do it manually

If it's anything like the other EA games i have, the deauthorization popup will come up automatically when you start the uninstall process.
