Drug faction/Skooma guild : V

I know how some people are saying how it would be great to see a greybeard faction, but what about a skooma faction? For instance you have to make you're way up in ranks to become "drug lord" so to say, i mean if theirs going to be nords, there's gotta be skooma right? What are you're thoughts on this?

I don't really like skooma addicts myself, but it may be a nice alternative/tie-in to the Thieves Guild, being able to be a Skooma smuggler. I would imagine the profits from skooma dealing would be much higher than the profits from normal thievery, and so too would be the punishment from the law.

I would like it as a smaller sort of comic relief type guild. Not actually a serious guild with a deep plot or anything, but just a bunch of drug dealers with a few ranks for you to go through. The quests could kind of be jokes, like planting skooma on guards who are a threat to get them arrested or spiking drinks at noble parties to get them addicted. It would be cool to also just go out and deal skooma to see the secret side of the commoners and nobility of skyrim alike.

They've got to come up with some new drugs, I'm tired of hearing about skooma everywhere. I think it's very unlikely that skooma is outlawed in Skyrim, as it would be rarer since they can't produce it there, and only the rich have access to it.

I remember I used to collect Skooma, just to see how much I could get. I would be intersting to see some sort of underground skooma factory.

I think we will definitely see plenty of drugs in the game, but I doubt we will get to be a drug lord. I don't think that would be a good direction for the game to take it, especially with how media would react.

Feels quite distant though... Pretty much all skooma comes from Elsweyr, and that's quite a bit from Skyrim. Doesn't feel related to the area simply.

true not related to the area, but it just feels like there could be some sort of underground skooma trade that could coincide with possibly the thieves guild. And yes maybe "drug lord" would be a little extreme but i think you might get what im saying, sort of like being the head of the guild, being called maybe Skooma lord? haha i think it would be a fun smaller faction to play through

well i feel like they could also put in a slave trade, cause somehow they'll find a way to put in each race so i guess the argonians would have to be slaves right? i mean it doesn't seem like any argonian would be living in Skyrim so

I would love to see this as an element of an organized crime faction. Much more mafia than Thieves Guild, if you follow me. Instead of stealing to rank up you would have to be an enforcer or "tax collector" and other various mafia-type things.

Maybe a couple of related quests with it somewher, but a drug guild? NO...
In that case we could as well add a prosttutes guild,guild of alcoholic bevareges, slave market guild and similar pointless stuff

There actually was a prosttute guild in Daggerfall. ^^

Not a guild as such, but maybe a smaller skooma-running operation that you could join. Or aternatively, a larger criminal organisation (think mafia-type), that's involved in drugs.

I agree. There clearly is a skooma trade-route etc. It would be awesome!

Why is it ok to have an assassins guild. But not a smuggling/drugs/contraband guild/faction?

It's already in the games you just can't join it. You run into the guys running this stuff. You find their secret stashes.

They should definitely do this!

OR, I can see a raving Khajiit with neon glowsticks and pacifier around the neck, rollin' balls off some crazy TES X with dragons on 'em! Sellin' them tabs like hotcakes down(up) in Skyrim!
