I had successfully played RAGE on a Radeon HD 5770 some time ago (not without problems ofc but managed to iron them out).

Since I have upgraded to r9 270x GPU and what RAGE does to my computer when launching this game is sth I have never seen before. I'm running Alienware Aurora i7 920 @2.67, 16 GB RAM with win 7 x64 just for the reference.

Goes without saying the the drivers are up to date (14.12 specifically)

What happens: moments after the opening Bethesda logo massive screen tearing and flickering start occuring. By massive I mean that what is happening on the screen obscures everything else and the computer is unusable cause you cant see the cursor or any of the Win layout properly. I have never seen it that bad. Interestingly after exiting the game the issue persists and only a reboot helps.

I would appreciate any suggestions cause I actually enjoyed this title and wanted to try out the DLC...
