I'm playing the Legendary Edition on PS3.
I'm using Dual Flurry level 2 with Elemental Fury level 1. When I attack with no enemies around just to test the speed, I attack really fast. But once I pop the Elemental Fury when an enemy is actually in my face and I try to attack, more often than not it's like my attack button isn't responding AT ALL.
It often seems to take at least a few seconds if not more for the first attack to come out, and the following attacks seem sporadic. Definitely nowhere near the speed of the attacks during testing outside of combat. Sometimes it's almost like the game doesn't let me attack when I have Dual Flurry and Elemental Fury and an enemy is in front of me.
Is there a known problem regarding this, or is there just something I'm missing that could be affecting the responsiveness of the controls?
If it makes any difference, I'm using two Honed Draugr War Axes with no enchantments.
I tested it a bit more later. It seems to happen the same with other one-handed weapons and not just the Honed Draugr War Axe. I also tried Dwarven War Axe, Forsworn Axe, and Forsworn Sword. I couldn't do extensive testing though since the dungeon I was in didn't end up having many enemies.
Then I went and tried it in Whiterun (didn't save after I slaughtered everyone...) against guards and The Companions. Oddly, I didn't have a problem with the responsiveness while fighting against them. If I did, it wasn't nearly as long a delay or as frequent.
So now I'm really confused. It doesn't sound like a controller issue.
It was not a problem when I was testing with no enemies around.
It was barely a problem, if one at all, in Whiterun with normally friendly NPCs.
It's often a problem in dungeons with enemies.
I tried Elemental Fury up to level 2 and tested that and it seemed even worse in regard to the responsiveness. Even outside of battle now, the attack button wasn't really registering consistently or immediately while I had it active and dual-wielding.
Any help would be appreciated.
