dual weilding and blocking : V

I just got skyrim today and it seems i cant block while dual weilding.....is that correct?

I'm disappointed with that too, oblivion had parry and dodging kinda moves as well I think. A few things in Skrim are a step back from Oblivion but it looks good.

Yes that is correct, one of the tradeoffs for having a second weapon is the fact that you can't defend yourself.

Yes, it's a balance thing. Why ever use a shield or a 2hander if you could block while dual wielding?

Balance thing, if you have twice the damage output, you sacrifice blocking (if you didn't, everyone would dual wield)
