Guys, i know that this happens for a fact.
I went to Eurogamer a few weeks ago and played the game for 20 minutes. Originally i didn't make a topic about it because when i played, i just ran around crazy and didn't really learn anything knew about the game that i didn't before.
BUT I DID, learn one cool fact. When i dual wielded an axe and a sword, i didn't particularly see anything special in the way the attacks were. It was just one had slash, then the other, and repeat. And the kill animations were just generally stabbing them in the neck or the same as the single handed weapons.
However, when i equipped TWO DAGGERS of the same property (both your standard rusty daggers) i immediatly noticed a difference in the way that i was attacking them. It would be one hand doing a jab, then the other a slash, and then maybe a spin move before a double slash. And the kill animations were much cooler - you would either plunge BOTH daggers into their chest at once, or do a special animation where you stab one blade into them before spinning and stabbing them backwards with the other one.
It felt like even though 'dual wielding' is supposed to be enough of a different style of animation in fighting then single and double handed, that inside each animation there could be different types of attacks based on the weapons.
