Dubstep thread

Anyone heard of http://www.facebook.com/#!/porterrobinsonmusic? It's one of my friend's little brothers.. It's really weird, knowing someone that famous (who's several years younger than me!). He's currently touring worldwide, doing shows with Skrillex and other dubstep artists.

One of his most popular is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6I10SEJF6c.

You can listen to more of his stuff on his http://www.facebook.com/#!/porterrobinsonmusic?sk=app_178091127385 or his http://www.youtube.com/user/PorterRobinsonMusic.

This kid is freaking good, and I don't even listen to Dubstep. Plus he's only 18!

Bassnectar is by far my favorite Dubstep artist. He's incredibly talented and can do many different styles and incredible remixes. Some tunes:

this one is an older track but still good

But my favorite thing about dubstep, is how much free music there is. So many "Youtube famous" groups that'll release albums for free, or even more successful groups will release singles/bootlegs for free. That's what music is about.

I've recently found a new favorite dubstep artist. :) His name is Ephixa, and I wub him. (pun intended)
He seriously has some filthy skills. He has good remixes of classics, including a dubstep remix to a few Zelda soundtrack songs.

All of his stuff is A+ quality, seriously. It's pro-step. Give it all a listen if you're a dub fan.

*Warning: the following tracks are completely filthy, grimey, and full of disgusting bass. Listen at your own discretion.*

I only just started listening to dubstep like 2 weeks ago, but so far I like Bassnectar, Doctor P, and Dodge and Fuski. Run the Heart by Bassnectar might be my favorite dubstep song at the moment, although pormstep by Dodge and Fuski has a special place in my heart because it was the first song I listened to.

Downloaded some more of Nero's stuff the other day. Innocence is good. Also really like Skrillex's remix of My Name is Skrillex.
