"Duel wielding attack speed perk" flawed?

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 10:31 am

Not really "flawed", but i noticed that while dual wielding and attack with ONE of the swords, i attack faster; however if i sheathe one of my swords, i attack slower (since its not considered dual wield with one sword drawn) which is kinda weird isnt it? That i attack faster by attacking with one sword (with 2 swords drawn) as compared to attacking with one sword drawn. I understand its to "balance" dual wielding, but um i don't see why one can't attack with the same speed when not dual wielding..

Sorry if its hard to understand, my expression aint that good :)

You make sense. Don't worry.

I assume they did it that way for game design and balance. Having a shield setup with impeccable defenses or the long reach of a Two-Handed weapon sure do have their own advantages. Dual Wielding has its speed and high damage rate. A one-handed weapon and free left hand sure did get the short end I think; at least if you don't have some kind of spell readied.

dual wield is two 1 hand swords, which will just boost your speed by 35%, understood?

He is asking why is it faster to swing with just the other weapon in dual wield, while the other weapon is the just for props.

You know what I don't like about dual wielding? You can't freaking move, so often times enemies will just back away from you during power attacks. SDHFGHJJL
