Duel wielding

I thought we already knew this from ages ago?

If by "ages" you mean 5 months then yes. But maybe there was no discussion thread open at the moment? Its a really important new feature of combat. The combat is built around the dual hand concept.

i don't really see myself wielding two weapons at once apart from maybe like WARHAMMERS or something just to wreck dudes. i think more than actual dual-wielding i'll wind up using the system to do some left-handed combat just to mix things up.

also does anyone else think this is going to feel kind of weird with a mouse? like on a gamepad RT is pretty much the default attack button in every game but on a mouse it's left-click, which in Skyrim's case will likely be controlling the left hand.

In Oblivion my character had shield and sword AND he also had a destruction spell equipped. I liked fighting with my sword+shield and occasionally, when I pushed enemy back or I backed off I would threw a flare at him. That was my main way of fighting. I regret not being able to do that in Skyrim.

EDIT:

I think it'll be something like LMB for a weapon in your left hand and RMB for a weapon in your right hand.
