"This game, which I know nothing about, is SO much better than THIS game, which I also know NOTHING about. I have a life and always think with reason."

Ahh... i loughed my ass off 3 times now.

Do you really think i was dead serious with the :

"Crysis2 can pack its bags" .. thing?

I mean come on!

Its Duke Nukem Forever!
It surely will not look like Crysis 1 or 2 but it will be funny as hell!!
Talon got me right on this one.
Its Duke.. hes the king of the world baby!
He comes to bring the fun back in ego shooters.
You can say anything you want but Dnd3d was funny as hell. Crysis( and i suppose Crysis 2 also) is not famous for its humor.

Most of the people who actually work on Crysis 2 have their jobs because of games like Dnd3d !In fact many programmers were inspired by Duke and 3drealms to become game developers. Those games are true classics.

I think he wont admit it... but i would think of Mr Yerli being exited to get his hands on DNF ;-)

By the way...why are you people so damn unrelaxed ?

I didnt insult your mother or anything ;-)

Its all just about games...and people talking about it.

Even the programmers and employees from Crytek are more open minded and tolerant about other companies and games then most of you guys. Different people have different opinions..thats normal.
But it causes constant flame wars everywhere.

Duke Nukem, you could say, is sort of what made FPS games have an ego, or personality.

Put aside the visuals and the next gen stuff. What matters is that this game is all about Duke Nukem, about babes, about chewing bubblegum, but most importantly, about being not a serious person.

That's what made people enjoy this game. It was all about fun, not about how cool it looked or whatever.

Now, I need to find DN3D. My brother has it on disc, so it must be somewhere... :)

If it ends up being anything like Borderlands then it will be bug ridden ****! **** served up on a rusty dirty trash can lid for a plate.
The moderators on their forum went as far as suspending and banning people for asking when or if things were ever going to be fixed. Hell just look in their tech help section at all of the nine month old bugs in the game that were never fixed. Some were game breaking bugs.

I'll never buy another product of theirs ever again. Good luck to anybody who does.

I played Borderlands since release day and i've done 92 hours, according to Steam stats. I've done several characters, 2nd play through's and completed all of the DLC's and i cannot think of one bug associated with the game...

Just to make things clear.

Tryptich ( Some ex 3drealms Guys who didnt gave up)
finished the Pc version! Gearbox helped out as much as they can ( money and additional personal) Now its all polishing and of course convert it to the goddamn consoles.

But i dont care this time...the PC sales will blow the consoles away!!

Well, I can tell you that the bugs in Borderlands for anything but the PC are stunning!
Hell they haven't even answered a help question or updated anybody on a patch since March.
Gearbox has become my least favorite company which is surprising given how much I disliked Codemasters.

Just attempting to do a Duke Nukem is a bad sign and has been so for many years now. To go to the extent of releasing a new version is a sure sign they are headed into financial hell.

Can you please refrain from putting your post in Caps Lock... It is rude to post in all caps and makes you seem less intelligent. ;)

Anyway,,,

I think its great that in a time were every ego shooter must be darn serious to be successfull, the duke comes back to show how much "fun" and humor there can be in a shooter.
I mean for Crysis 2 its exactly the opposite.. its more dramatical and sad.. oh man.. life is sad enough. Im not so exited for the story of C2 i can tell ya,,,its almost a small coverfield rip off ( the tension and dramatic etc.). Why dont take the Nanosuit and say... im ready for action baby.
Lets kick some Alien ass baby! That would be so nice...
Really Crytek... think about it.. maybe its time to actually play a game and have fun with cool one liners and a attitude instead of drama and sadness in apocalyptic New York. ;-)
