Lol. The development cycle will take this game 14 years total to make. :D

The game development is practically as old as I am. ^-^

That is why there is an off topic section, Buddy :)

As for the game, I was looking forward to it 10 years ago, now I'll wait and see, as I think it will be nothing more than shovelware with the remains of 3drealms project polished up and finished but of course it will say DNF on it so they hope that will drive the sales.

Think about it, if this were any other game I think we'd all be feeling quite underwhelmed. It won't stop me from at least giving it a shot though, it deserves a chance I suppose.

Ahh, I haven't heard of his name in years. :)

It was only when I was 6-7 years old I first started playing Duke Nukem 3D, when my big brother brought it off his mates.

Good to know that it's being developed. Let's hope it doesn't get delayed again!

This is also the Off Topic section of gamesas, which is perfectly suited to these types of threads. Please don't ask people to "shut up" :)

Oh hell no! You might flag my comment as spam to get rid of it but don't you ever EVER tell Crysis 2 to pack it's bags! Crytek put lots of hard work into Crysis 2 and that's why it is so incredible! This may be the off-topic section but... you know what, I'm not going to try and get through your thick cranium...

Duke Nukem IGN rating nil
Crysis 2 IGN rating 10
Can you understand what that is?
If you can't I'll tell you... IT'S THE FUTURE!

Seriously, don't you think the theme that duke nukem had many years back might be a bit lost after all these years, and with a different company (Gearbox). Gearbox is good, its made some awesome games and it may be able to make this one awesome as well.
But, I once saw a picture of Duke Nukem gameplay at PAX 2010, and it looked like it was totally different. FPS view, with a pistol, standing in front of what I thought looked like a rock, in the desert ?
??????????????????? how the hell is that Duke Nukem ??!!!. It's more like Borderlands.
But hey, I may be wrong you know...

Agree with the first part !
but calm down, we all know that Crytek is doing an awesome job and that it aint never gonna pack it's bags coz of Duke Nukem (well l don't think it will... )

And also -
