Some Nords use old Dwemer cities/ruins to live in I think.

Possibly the Dwemer were smart enough to have a sewer system and working plumbing.

Since they have the ability to create steam powered death ball centurions, why not have a still working plumbing?

With all the sewer-slinking I did in oblivion, I am comforted by the apparent lack of plumbing. Maybe there was no poo down there!

Daggerfall had toilets.

Well, they were small rooms with a wooden box in, but toilets nonetheless.

Make it disappear with magic, how else do these mages guilds pay for these nice gaffs they have everywhere, they provide all of Thamriel with a valuable service that ain't never gonna make it into the history books.

Hell who said they didn't booby trap em so no looters would still their stuff because when you have to go you gotta go.
Steam powered death toilets anyone? Oh also the poster who said something about the buckets i wouldn't doubt that those were toilets they wanted the whole dark ages immersion.

maybe all poo in tamriel immediately went to the shivering isles?

that would explain why sheogorath was so "mad" all the time.

You know, we tend to lock threads about sewage and plumbing in the Elder Scrolls, because every single thread ever made about it ends up in the cess pit under the sewers and has to be locked. This one has followed in the traditional manner, so its closed.
