Dungeon loot not scale?

Post » Wed Nov 30, 2011 12:19 pm

I do feel that loot found in dungeons should scale with character level, at least up to some margin. Because those gold(5) and gold(2) in urns and chests and petty soul stones lying all around are not fun. Very miserable indeed that being a honorable hero I have to poke into every hole to get my two coins.

Standard for the game. Chests, sacks, normal mob corpses, coffers will generally have vendor trash items, alchemy ingredients, food and/or small amounts of gold. I have noticed small coin sacks all over as I explore - those often just have 5 or 10 gold, but some have more, I have found a few that had 30 ro 40 gold in them

If you clear a cave or whatever, you usually find a decent chest with something good for your level (not necessarily use-able by your character though), or if there is a mini-boss, like a bandit chief or full conjurer or something, their gear is usually nicer quality and leveled appropriately.

every little helps, you make so much gold buy picking up armour and weapons and selling them to NPC vendors, i found out it also increases your speech =o but yeah, crafting and selling is good for gold, i bought a horse at level 6ish, its worth looking in the urns for materials you can use, which helps when crafting. When hunting for mats, dont do what i did, attack a Giant for good loot lol, i was knocked like 60ft in the air and died.
