Almalexia kills sotha sil not the nerevarine. Hopefully we learn of vivec in skyrim.

I wish they made it so the nerevarine killed vivec... i hated that [censored], i killed him when he tried to make me take that oath, i never beat the game the normal way.

My character doesn't care; Argonians are on his list and he couldn't care less about fate of some Mer.

But I hope there will be interesting themes around this conflict. I hope for some serious choices and consequences. And then skrewing both groups up.

To those saying things might have settled down: I doubt it, the Dunmer are some of the most proud and stubborn mer you will find, they wouldn't care if it was just some rebels or the whole black marsh, those filthy lizards killed Dunmer, and alot of Dunmer would strike back, causing more tension.

I dont think all the Dunmer just literally left.

Why not? Let the lizards have Morrowind. Its dirty and has giant mushrooms you can't even eat. Move north where it snows, beat up the locals and live contently knowing those FILTHY BABY SNATCHING LIZARDS can't survive in the cold.

^this. The dunmer won't stand down.

Who knows maybe the Nerevarine will come back from Akavir, and wipe out all those filthy lizards.

EDIT: providing he isn't one

A lot of comments about the length of time. Yes, it's a long time for Argonians, but Dunmer have longs lives--the generation that survived the invasion would still be around.

And if Bethesda uses this fact, there could be some really interesting stuff. Like old Dunmer taking revenge on young Argonians, without caring that they didn't have anything to do with the Dunmers loss.

The province of Morrowind is quite large, from Tear to Blacklight, from Narsis to Necrom, I doubt the Argonians could push everyone onto Solstheim.

Yea, i've always disliked the dunmer. First ES game i played was oblivion, and the one dark elf who insulted me already made me not like them a little bit, but then when i heard they used slavery i really didn't like them. They deserved getting their ass kicked for once.

If, when I'm playing an Argonian, I'm walking past a group of Dunmer and they're taunting me and spitting on the ground I walk on, then that'd be awesome. And I'd get to practise my hand to hand combat skill.

Is it bad that my main character is an argonian that is a magister in Telvanni, and is an equal opportunity slave holder?

Maybe I will play as revenge hungry Dunmer who goes around slaughtering every argonian in the game. :D
He's being executed because all the killing he's already done.

Well it's not like the dunmer and argonians were on good terms before. It would be interesting too know what plans the remaining telvanni has right now.

Years of murder, slavery, and oppression. In Morrowind (the game) Argonians and Kahjiits were the only races subject to slavery. They were forced to work on plantations, serve as test subjects for magick and necromancy, and in some cases used as drug mules.

As a Dunmer born in Skyrim, quite sometime after the war with the Argonians, and not personally knowing any Argonians involved in said war, I can't say I hate them as a whole.

Now Nords, Orcs, Imperials, and Altmer can take a long walk off of a short fjord.

Wasn't Black Marsh and Morrowind both pretty much destroyed in The Infernal City? It's more than likely both of them are in the process of rebuilding...

My relation to them certainly will be, my first character is always a Dunmer and he's resentfull to say the least about the whole affair. As a proud Dunmer patriot and a strong supporter of the ancient Dunmer laws and customs he reacts accordingly.

I took a look at Elven lifespans in TES and figured out that my character could concievably have lived long enough to have been active as a Mercenary from the beginning of Morrowind to the time that Skyrim takes place, he's not the Nerevarine or the saviour of Cyrodiil, but he is old enough to have witnessed it all. He thinks the Argonians should be gratefull that the weak King Helseth gave them their freedom and spat of Dunmer customs in the process, instead they invade.

He's not dumb enough to hate all argonians, nor kill them on sight. He's a reasonable man, but any Argnonian will have to work exceedingly hard to gain his respect or trust. He's not likely to help an Argonian either, unless it pays well.

I'd love to see like a disgruntled ex-Ordinator who survived the Argonian invasion who will actively attack Argonian PCs. That'd be pretty sweet.

Well this is interesting,my caracter will be a Breton, but personally i dont like Dunmers for their slavery policy in the past.
So if there will be any quests that involve this two races i will support Argonians. :batman:
