Dunmer Boots and Fortify Destruction

Post » Sun Jun 09, 2013 2:56 am

So, to complete my Dark Elf, I had stolen a pair of Dunmer Boots off of a resident at Raven Rock. I was unaware in the first place that you couldn't enchant any kind of boots with fortify whatever mage skill (in this case, destruction for me), so it came to a surprise after I had done this to these pair of boots that I couldn't enchant any other boots like it. Thoughts? Bug? Intentional? I don't know, but it's pretty nice having a pair of boots with 25% off destruction, and 15% off destruction / +10% magicka regen.

It's classified as a chest piece, so yes. Very useful.

I use for another Fortify Smithing.

Oh, that's neat. Yeah I've been wanting to get my dark elf going as a mage. Do you by any chance know of any amulet that has this same kind of thing? I swear I made an amulet (I forgot what kind, that's why I ask) that could have fortify destruction AND fortify destruction / magicka regen

Amulets don't have the Magicka Regen with a School? I always thought they did. Anyways no, not that I know of.

Edit: Due to a bug, you can wear an Amulet and a Bonehawk Amulet together.

Yeah that's what I thought. I tried enchanting a silver jeweled necklace and a bonehawk amulet but neither would accept the school + regen

I think I'll make another topic about the necklace / rings.

If you're lucky, and haven't finished all the quests in Raven Rock, then its possible you can find them.

Just keep doing quests in Raven Rock until you come to the point where you need to..."investigate a house". The residents should get you two pairs. Otherwise, you may see them scattered on dead bodies throughout Solstheim.

Sweet. Thank you. I just got the DLC and have been spending most of my time with Neloth. I'll head back to Raven Rock pronto.
