I like the look overall and does look a lot more like what is described in the MW Lore. The female presets look pretty bad however. Have to see what the age-slider will do in the CC.

I dont see how Morrowind lovers can cut down on the new dark elves, if you look back at the old dunmers you an see that that old style is there now even better.

I agree. I am so ecstatic that the Morrowind Dunmer are back - seriously, they look exactly the same, except with modern-day graphics.

I liked them in the first photo of the guy with the dagger but I'm not as excited about them after seeing they all seem to suffer from startrekeyebrowitis. Not that they are terrible looking but that similarity on all of them kind of annoys me.

These were done by fans, so nothing official.

I like the new design, they look different from humans. They have a strange and alien appearence and you definetly wouldn't mistake one for a human. I actualy like how all the Elven races look drasticaly different from the races of men; these differences lend themselves to racial tension very well and I hope we'll see a lot of it in Skyrim as it would add some considerable depth to the world.

I'm so impressed by the creativty of the graphic designer! The new Dunmer look is kind of a perfect illustration of what i was figuring of that race.
Now I'm curious to hear their voices...
Also, im curious to see what moders will come with, after this awesome result.

Idk, I happen to like the new direction. They look like they come from a harsh, ash strewn place..which many of them do. So yeah, kudos

I wonder if the racial abilities for the Dunmer will change at all, I think they'll keep their fire resistance but what about the ancestral guardian you think that will make a come back? If it does I'm really hoping it'll be more effective.

They mentioned racial abilities for the khajiit and orcs and they were the same as before I think so there's a good chance they will be the same again for the dunmer too.

Fire resistance should come i handy when fighting those dragons. But the ancestor spirit in OB was useless. I remember in Morrowind it was called Ancestor Guardian and cast a 50pt, once-a-day sanctuary spell, which basically made it harder for enemies to land blows. But sanctuary isn't a spell anymore.

Maybe you can summon something more useful than a ghost. Or it levels up as you do? Level 1 ghost. level 5 greater spirit. Level 10 wraith. etc.

Yeah I wouldn't mind it being the same just want the ghost to be more agile or something the one in Oblivion was extremely slow.

Yeah that would pretty cool just something that could at least stay alive long enough to draw an enemies attention or do some extra damage.

I wonder if we might see anything of their old province, if the borders have moved. It would be nice to see the Blacklight area near eastern Skyrim.

If it weren't for their brow ridge they'd be perfect. They look kind of like Trolls or Vampires in Vampire mode. I think they looked better in Morrowind.

The more I look at the screens the less i care about the brow, I still hope I can make it smaller though.

Here's my http://s209.photobucket.com/albums/bb126/FearTheLiving-DFG/?action=view¤t=DunmerPreset.jpg & http://s209.photobucket.com/albums/bb126/FearTheLiving-DFG/?action=view¤t=DunmerPreset02.jpg I did in paint my Dunmer probably won't look like this, but it was fun making the presets I liked into one. Anyone else do some edits to the Dunmer presets? I've seen quite a few of the other races changed so let me see you collaborations.

I'm with ya there. They have that gruff seriousness about them that belies a power all its own. Reminds me of some of the old Telvanni characters.

I don't like that they all look "evil" now.
I

This. They not only look evil. They look Monstrous. The males especially, but both really, look very much like the really monstrous breeds of vampires look, once they have giving up on trying to fool you into thinking they are even remotely human, and are ready to eat you.

I know some people may think that badass, but these are Elves, not the Fright Night cast. They can be hardcoe without looking like blood drinking, half-demons.

How awesome would it be to get just a glimpse of Divayth Fyr, clad in full Daedric, with this current Dunmer "look"?

Dude! chill out! I can read your comments even without bolding it and with the huge size.

Anyway dunmer look good to me. They look pretty evil and sometimes ugly but so do many other races.
