I can see some tensions, given Morrowind's recent history:

Nord: You like to dance close to the fire, don't you?

Dunmer: You fetching little- don't joke about that!

I forsee an awesome new Nord/Dunmer alliance.

I always thought the Dunmer would just be an oppressed minority. The Nords don't seem like the welcoming type. Maybe the Dunmer would get their own city, like the Orcs.

Instead of an alliance between the nords and the dunmer, I see the dunmer being ungratefull guests and garnering the ire of most of skyrim.

Eventually, I could see it happening, but I would think they'd use the Nords to get themselves back on thier feet, first.

I wonder what happened to the Telvanni? They could probably build new mushroom cities wherever they wanted.
