Dunmer's resist to fire

Says the cultist who cannot even see where his own butt is, or even remember where it was before. And that all your soldiers are nothing more than tin cans used as target practice for 6 year olds with 90 year old BB guns.

You still haven't given me one example of Nurgle's contribution to the destruction of the Imperium.

Other than rauaging and converting planets with more plagues and pathogens than a Tzeentchian cultist could ever fathom, and creating soldiers who refuse to die.

I've also fought the empire on a few occasions, but they're not my biggest concern as they'll inevitably fall. Instead, I find myself preying more on the godless Tau, the damning Emperor's Children, the always fun 'nids, and the occasional and weak Eldar.

As a follower yourself, you should remember Chaos moves by its own will, and is not dictated.

Considering their purpose(that of being the "cure" for chaos), yes, the tyranids are our most pressing concern. The Tau and Eldar are a passing ghost. The imperium is weak and breaking apart at the foundations, but remember well that the god emperor lives. If only barely. Man has shown it's ability to come from the brink of defeat time and time again. We must not ease up the pressure.

But now, let's stop before we're banned for off topicness.

Finally, I'm not actually a follower or a cultist. I'm a commissar of the Imperial Guard, and I've led you into a confession and a trap. http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m1241825_99060105213_Commissarboltpistmain_873x627.jpg

Even now, Creed, the tactical genius, is backing me up with the 121st Cadian Regiment's best Leman Russ tanks.

Vivec was never in the closet about his lust. Why should we be?

Come, let us belly dance and bite spears, though it is forbidden.

So moving slightly back on topic, I think it's funny that the triune who was the most stable (relatively speaking) was Vivec, who presented himself as straddling what the Dunmer were and now are. He didn't go insane when the Dunmer were moving on, nor did he effectively abandon them in favor of constructing and running his model Nirn.

Though, if we were to anolyze their actions based on their symbolic choice of which element of their people to hang onto, Almalexia did the most for the people on the small scale (Lady of Mercy and all that), extending up to the political level, Sil did the most for them on the Metaphysical level (which would logically fall within the purview of the Wizard's role), protecting them from Oblivion and the like, and Vivec did a little political stuff, but was mostly responsible for the integrity of the Dunmer people, fueling their faith, keeping them... Dunmer, keeping enemies of their souls (Dagoth Ur, who had a largely different view on Dunmeri values than the Tribunal), suppressing heresy, killing Nerevarines, etc.

Nnnn, nope. I'm not gaining any insights here. You can make the case of Sil providing the direction of the Dunmer people, Alma providing them comfort and Vivec keeping the two together, but... yeah not really.

No really. It works. It's just another example of the entaniomorph (sp?). It's a heavily recurring theme in this literature. I'd be amazed if the symbolism didn't extend to the Tribunal as well.

Also

Vivec, who presented himself as straddling

I believe (now) that it works in threes. Here's a list of threes for the Tribunal:
3 Gods
3 Anticipations
3 Classes (A=Warrior, S=Mage, V=Poet)
3 Races (Chimer, Half-Chimer/Dunmer, Dunmer)
etc.

Vivec's class is the thief.

Since he stole the tower's secret and all that. Also, he stole my heart.

I'd say Rogue or Thief better describes Vivec...Sotha Sil is described as the Magus and Almalexia as the Warden.

They're also Mastery - Vivec. Mystery - Sotha Sil. Mercy - Almalexia.
