It is passed the weekend. And this is why we are still making these threads.

And no, the more we ask, the more it shouldn't be delayed, that's the most screwed up and fanboyish logic I've ever heard of. If they tell us "it'll be out this weekend" and them monday runs around to no avail, uh, yeah, we should start asking questions. That's how logic works.

Yeah this and plus in the last thread it was mentioned that Pete and the team were talking about the screenshot this morning but Todd wanted to go back and make some changes. What kind of changes I'm wondering? It all doesn't make sense.

I'm sorry but there are multiple tweets regarding the screenshot, and ALL have said last weekend or "we're working on it right now" etc. It's not coming out at the end of the month, and I can't find the tweet you're talking about.

Because the last screenshots were posted a [censored] month ago. I'm beginning to think that Pete Hines's lead consultant is a magic 8-ball that says nothing but "No" and "Ask again later." This pointless media blackout is diminishing my interest in the game. Can you imagine how happy people would be if they released a screenshot of each race to go with the Khajiit and Orc ones? How those screenshots would be all over the Internet with people getting excited about how cool they look, did you see that Roman armor the Imperial was wearing, that High Elf's fancy robes, that awesome greataxe that the Argonian was carrying, etc. I can't wait for this game now! I'm going to make a blah blah blah...

Instead of getting a slow, teasing trickle of media we're getting [censored] all. Who the [censored] comes up with this marketing strategy? Hype dies down. It needs to be renewed every so often, even if only by a picture of a [censored] gazelle.

And then you wonder why folks communicate with you in a guarded way ... Telling someone what you intend to do (even without paragraphs of qualifying text) doesn't constitute a promise. On the bright side, Beth can't take your off-hand statement that you are going to buy Skyrim as an implied contract, either. Promises and contracts both require a more explicit commitment.

Whether or not they used the word "promise" is irrelevant. This is a business, not your friend in the 3rd grade. Obviously they had no contractual obligation either, but they missed their self appointed deadline so complaints are understandable.

Well not alot of people got to see the Dunmer from the demo because of low resolution. And screenshots give new information no matter how small the detail, that and it's nice to see how the game is coming along.

It is pretty damn lame they can't release the screenshot when they say they will. It literally takes no time at all to take a screen shot. It would of taken a hour at the most to get the appropriate setting and clothing style for the Dunmer. Pretty bad...

I agree, but everyone is like "Lets burn Bethesda down for not keeping their promise of one screenshot!" Its going to come, its not like they are taking it away. Everyone complain that Beth isn't doing a good job advertising their game and that they can't keep up to the times they say they'll release new information/screenshots.

Understandable ... childish ...Choose your adjective. So many pleas for mature content. So little advlthood. Whether in business or personal life things regularly change in transit. Adaptability is good.
