Hey guys.

I made a Dunmer character who specializes in sneak, illusion, conjuration, destruction and one handed. I wear ebony mail from Boethiah with the Steed sone (I think) which makes heavy armor weight nothing and not slow me down at all while providing good protection.

Now is my question. Boethiah is obviously revered by the Dark Elves and her reward obviously suits such a character. Now I also done the quest for molag bal (SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) which granted me his mace, and he is the father of vampires.

Since my character is dark and cares for murder and plots both which fit the both princes, would wearing both the gifts from them fit the lore? Aka wear ebony mail and mace of molag bal. Obviously boethiah on is own is cool as Dark Elves worship her, but Bal is one of the princes in the house of troubles for the Dunmer.

Would it make sense lore wise for me to wear both the pieces and say, not anger both the princes? I'ts little lore things like that that annoy me. Obviously both pieces with my standing stone are perfect for a vampire.

Molag Bal also fits because he essentially created vampires.

Anyways, I've wrestled with this issue before, since not only is Bal in the House of Troubles for the Dunmer, but it's explicitly stated in the game that Bal and Boethiah are rival princes. Hell, Bal's whole quest revolves around beating a priest of Boethiah into submission for giggles and grins.

Gameplay wise, I'd say your build couldn't be more perfect for a vampire. Lore wise, it's difficult to say, really. I suppose you could justify it in a way that, since Boethiah pushes her followers to live a life full of deeds as well as be deceptive, that's exactly what you're doing by allying yourself with both her and Bal, however indirectly? Seems like a weak justification now that I read it typed out lol, but off the top of my head, best I can come up with.
