Dunwall City Trials DLC not listed under "MISSIONS"

Post » Thu Aug 27, 2015 9:56 pm

Hello
I located the Dunwall City Trials DLC after searching for it under "Games" on the XBox.
I paid for it and downloaded it. I checked that it is listed under "Storage" on the XBox. It is (931 MB).
The "Game Front" guide says "Head to the main menu and select missions. You can select the DLC missions from here"
I have done that but there are no Dunwall City Trials missions listed.
All the missions I have completed to date are there, up to the last one - # 09 - The Light at the End.
So where are the DLC missions please?

I had a similar problem when I first downloaded the trials.

For whatever reason, shutting off and turning on my Xbox fixed it, and the game recognized I had the DLC afterwards.

Hello CorvoAttano
Many thanks for your response.
However your suggestion did not work (in fact I had tried that before I posted).
As you can see I'm new to these forums so I'm not sure what goes on.
I had thought that someone from Bethesda would have tried to help me.
What would you suggest I do now?
PS Are you a member of the public or what?
Many thanks.

You are looking in the top tab titled "DLC" right?

Hello ZindroVokun
Thank you for responding to my problem.
I'm very sorry but I can't find a 'top tab titled "DLC" '.
When I load the game all I have are 5 tabs at the bottom of the screen to choose from viz:
Continue, New Game, Missions, Load and Options. There is nothing at the top of the screen.
I click on "Missions" and at the top it says "Choose Mission to Play from". There is nothing else at the top of the screen.
I can then switch missions from 01 to 09 with my left stick and at the bottom of the screen I can select from:
A Accept, X Mission Stats and B Back. And that's it.
Can you tell me where this 'top tab titled "DLC" ' is please?

Hmm...I'm not sure what to suggest to you, since what I recommended fixed the problem for me. But no, I'm not a Bethesda employee, just someone who enjoys Dishonored!

Sorry I can't help, but good luck getting the trials working.

Hmm...I'm not sure what to do next. Wait around and see if someone else suggests something I guess.....

Ah, then you do seem to have a problem :( Once you click on "Missions*" (which should now have an asterisk) you should see at the top there is a little tab saying "Campaign" and next to it "DLC", you click on "DLC" then onto DCT and it takes you to a new menu.

Does "Missions*" have an asterisk? If not, I'd check it downloaded properly? Maybe re-download it?

I have the exact same problem. I tried downloading it a 2nd time, tried restarting and rebooting, nothing. The DLC section under 'Missions' just is not there.

Ah ha, I think I found the problem. When I looked in my Account, it said that I had downloaded it. But, when I looked in my Storage (Settings-&--#62;System-&--#62;Storage-&--#62;Games and Apps-&--#62;Dishonored) the DLC file has a yellow exclamation point, and it says the download is still incomplete, even though I have done the download twice, and both times it told me the download was finished.

EDIT: Downloaded it for a 3rd time, and I guess the 3rd time was the charm. I left it on the download screen the whole time, and made sure it went all the way to 100% this time, and got the notification the download was complete. When I started the game, it was there under Missions like it should have been the first time.

So this isn't a Bethesda problem, this is a Microsoft problem, which is why Bethesda support wasn't any help.
