I'll make an attempt.

Chapter Three
Bowels of Dunwich
________________
I got away from the desk and moved through the darkness. This entire section was desks and offices. We searched for another door. We eventually found another door, the plaque on the door said 'LOWER LEVELS'. I pushed on the door. A long set of metal stairs went down at least two stories downward. There was a sign with an arrow pointing down saying 'MAINTENANCE & UPKEEP'. Deciding we had no choice, we went down. It was just getting darker and darker.
I tried shining my light in front of us, but it didn't go far. John continued faster than us and got out of my flashlight's range. He lost his footing and tumbled down the stairs. His shotgun fell over the side, and hit the floor. The impact made it go off, and the worst thing that could happen happened. The gun shot at a pile of pipe-shaped barrels, all containing extremely flammable material. It made a large explosion, adding on more noise to John's metal parts of his armor clanking down the stairs with him.
The explosion caused alot of the things at the bottom to catch on fire, illuminating the entire room making no need for the flashlight. I ran down the stairs quickly to see if John was okay. He was grunting and complaining about his hand. I looked down at his hand and saw what I hadn't already noticed. His hand got caught onto the railing when he was falling, but the force from his body pulling the other way twisted it backward. He clenched his teeth in agony as I tried to think of something to help.
I searched Greg's old medical bag. I got out a few Med-X and Stimpaks and injected a few into his wrist. I put the bag away and jogged to John's gun. The wood finish of the gun had caught on fire and burnt the wood away. I tossed it to John, who caught it with his goot hand, which was his right. "Get up, we gotta get moving." I said. I went to open the mechanical door when I heard the screams of hundreds of ghouls. "Oh, God. We must've alarmed them with the explsion.." Cheryl said.
We had to move quick, otherwise we'd be dead. I opened the mechanical door quickly, ready to run through. Cheryl and John were both waiting as well. Then the door fully opened. I ran through immediately, closing the door after both of the others got in. There were more hallways ahead. I turned the corner, on the lookout for more ghouls. None so far, but soon there would be hell. The ghouls would be downthe stairs in a few minutes, and it was only a matter of time until they would find out how to open the door.
