Duplicate Legendary Dwellers - PATCH NEEDED

LOVE THIS GAME!!!!



One question/request from a FS addict...Why in the world would Bethesda muddle the game by allowing a serious fan and collector to be able to receive duplicate legendary dwellers? THIS RUINS THE GAME AND THE ROLE-PLAYING ASPECT to an otherwise AWESOME GAME! PLEASE fix this Bethesda so that I may be able to enjoy the game again. Will stop playing until this is addressed as it is stealing from your customers to provide a 5th Lucas Simms through purchased Lunch Boxes. Step up and show some class developers and PATCH THIS! Show us you care for your customers! This issue mars this from being an all time classic! I don't even mind that my Allistair Tenpenny ALL STATS 10 hardly finds any legendary weapons after 5 days of wandering. Please stop the duplicate legendary dwellers!!!!!

I have to agree on this. Of the 5 legendaries I got up to now I got 3x James... This also makes it utterly impossible to collect all legendary dwellers as you probably need thousands of lunchboxes to collect all of them, as you will get loads of duplicates.

Unfortunately you are right and I would have easily shelled out a couple hundred just to get the complete collection of everything, but not now!

Im in the exact same boat, I have 2 of Jericho an harkness and I'm super p***ed off since like you I was willing to fork out a bit of cash to grab all the legendary dwellers (or at least the ones I wanted) but instead I'm stuck with the 6 +2 clones iv got and I'm not wasting money getting more clones.


Id be happy if we could trade items and dwellers at least.

BETHESDA PLEASE HEAR US!!!! Thx for the post/support. Love this game but shame that the super rich are being catered to here by a development cheat/flaw/bug whatever you wanna call it (and I'm a capitalist but this is heartless)!

Yeah I thought they understood that alot of us are collectors (hoarders) one of my favourite things to do in fallout 3/new Vegas was collect every unique weapon an armor, then repair it to full condition and leave it at my home to never get touched again.

IMO fallout shelter is already a very free to play friendly game and quite a good quality game at the same time:D there is already no option to speed up upgrading processes and 'energy' which limits the amount of time you can play. All of these factors are usually used in Free2play games to help developers profit from their game but fallout shelter does not do that! In not doing that it greatly enhances the joy factor of this game and the freedom to play how you want to. So that brings us down to the question how do the developers make money in this game?:o they can't possibly be developing a game for free as nothing is free in this world! You would probably be kinda pissed off too if you had to work for free and cater to the demands of your consumers for free! Bethesda in fallout shelter solves this by introducing lunchboxes which are the only means of getting legendary characters, however there are only a handful of legendary characters to be collected.. So if these legendary characters become unique and can't be duplicated that means the devs will than have even less income to support their game! Which leads to less updates and poorer support to the players! Still keeping in mind that lunchboxes are the ONLY way the devs are making profit and that lunchboxes IMO are already ridiculously cheap to buy considering it's their sole income. If what you guys are demanding comes to fruition than the devs will take a huge blow to their bread and butter:c Think about it guys! Fallout shelter is already an awesome FREE game with no ads no time cap and non of the other annoying money making gimmicks! IMO we should be already greatful for this and not complain so much about this minor issue of duplicated legendaries:) sometimes we gotta think of what the devs want instead of only on what we want! I forgot to add my own suggestion to support this topic!:o so here it is! Hehe I think it would be a good idea to allow some form of random rerolling chance that gets more expensive the more you roll.. For example if you find a legendary in the pack you will have the option to respin the legendary in order to get something different! Each time you respin it the cost will increase for example 1st respin would cost 1 token 2nd would cost 2 etc. however this would require a form of respinning token to be added to the game which can be bought for real life cash! IMO this would be a win win situation for the players and the devs as players get more chance to get the legendaries they don't already have and the devs get a new small form of income! Let me know what do you guys think about this idea!:D do you guys think it will be able to satisfy your collecting habits?:o
