Ill start off with a little request/issue.

I tried multiple times to make a copy of Harkon's Sword (just the looks) and get rid of all the attributes, add some dmg, rename it, save it and obviously obtain it to no avail.

After I edited skyrim.ini file to make Dawnguard editable by Creation Kit, I took the following steps to make this happen:

1. Located Harkon's Sword and duplicated it

2. Edited it with 250 dmg, changed name and id to "mysword," additionally I erased the comment - "Absorbs 15 points of Health, Magicka, and Stamina if wielded by a vampire."

3. When asked "Create new form blah blah." I clicked "No." After that I clicked "Yes" for "Are you sure? This object is currently in use by 0 objects and 0 references."

4. Saved the .esp

5. Opened up launcher and selected both my esp and dawnguard

After that when I went into the game and typed in console "help mysword" - nothing showed up! I was thinking it would show me the id of my sword so I can player.additem it but that just didnt work!

I also tried just simply editing Harkon's Sword itself, and still that didnt work.

I hope someone can help me figure out what I did wrong or what I did not do, as this should be fairly simple for some of you senior folks to do.
