Well, an odonata is apparently a dragonfly, and all RPG fans knows that dragonflies can be pretty huge in Fantasy RPGS. (Might & Magic or the Gothic series anyone?)
'Oly Cow!!!!! Humingbirds, and the ability to kill/catch them? Just the level of detail Betheseda is going for with the wildlife is astounding
I had a similar reaction a few weeks back when we heard about dragonflies and bees!!!
And melting ore into BARS? One of my characters will definitely be melting gold and silver into bars for hoarding in his mansion basemant LOL
I got sick of their dutch accents like 10 seconds in. It all sounded like gibberish.
Poor boy! Of course it sounded gibberish to you, as you don't understand a single word of it. Us Dutchies on the other hand can handle ourselves pretty well in English. B)

After my Orc smelts some gold bars he is going to fry them in batter using his frying pan and eat them for breakfast... He's gonna be hardcoe. :disguise:

You are able to attach "spell badges" (as he called them) to weapons. Seems to have the same effect as enchanting.
You can catch fish, dragonflies and hummingbirds.
You can combine these as ingredients and make your own poisons.
I have this horrible suspicion that spell badges is enchanting. I think its going to be exactly like the sigil stones in Oblivion. Which wont make me happy.
I just dont see how they can make it interesting and complex without the spellmaking system behind it.
Wow so insects and stuff are no longer untouchable sprites? This may be the first game to do that.
As has been stated before, they where talking about dragonflies, not butterflies. My guess is that dragonflies will probably have about the same size as a rat or mudcrab.
The hummingbird has be baffled though, wonder how that'll look.
(don't beat the sh%t out of me if this was already common knowledge)
some basic translation:
- it's sort of the same as crafting ore/mining - it doesn't 'feel' like a minigame - you actually use a frying pan - apparently the person who was showcasing the game was cooking a butterfly (yeah your not the only one wtf'ing here)
Another nice thing they mentioned was, that the crafting perks for smithing will allow you to personalize in certain armour types, like getting better at smithing dragon armour, or steel, ect.

Dragonflies as big as rats and mudcrabs? Also, I wonder if everyone will start with a pick axe?
