I like the mechanical dwarven dragons in Skyrim Immersive Creatures, but I think they dominate the landscape a bit too much, which made me curious about http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24587/?, in which they are perched until approached. But I noticed that it has 10 ITM records, which always makes me a bit wary. Has anyone used it and can recommend it - or the opposite?

Can't recommend it one way or the other.

ITMs are not really important enough to worry about if that's your only concern.

It's the UDR that will cause issues in the game.

I know, but it makes me wary when modders are unaware of it (and hasn't bothered to clean it if informed about it). Who knows what else they are unaware/unbothered by.
