I just unlocked Orcish and was wondering if the full set of Orcish armor had better stats than the Dwarven?keep in mind I have the ancient knowledge blessing.

why do you care about stats.

Well I do like the look of dwarven better but right now I kinda need all the armor I can get.

Orcish would be better because Ancient Knowledge is bugged. It increases the armor of every type of armor EXCEPT dwarven.

dwarven armor could be cut from the game and I would never notice. Seriously. Never wore it. Hate how it looks.

Yeah, apparently before patch 1.9 the bug was that ancient knowledge affected EVERY armor. In patch 1.9 Bethesda attempted to fix it, but just ended up making it affect every armor except dwarven, which makes in worse in my opinion.

Really?I think it's got kind of a cool Greek or Roman look to it that I like.I guess different strokes,different folks.

Looks and stats, Orcish is better. Only Dwarven weapons are better than Orcish.

Orcish weighs quite a bit less than Dwarven as we'll.

Dwarven set with shield = 87 without= 75

Orcish set with shied = 71 without = 57

I like the Steel Plate better than either of them. Ebony too.

But my Dwemerphile Redguard disagrees; he wears all Dwarven. It works for him.

Yep. At least the Unofficial Skyrim Patch team got it right.

Orcish looks better, so I'd wear that.
