[REL] Dwemer blinking lights

Post » Fri Oct 19, 2012 9:17 am

Lights in dwemer ruins dont pulse but blink from time to time. Broken lights have small radius and constantly blink. Blinking rate depends on the framerate, the more FPS you have the faster blinking rate is. I tested it at about 100 FPS.
Both regular and broken meshes are smoothed.

Looks creepy as ever, awesome idea qqqbbb. My only comment is that it'd be great to have associated "clicking" noises with every flicker of a light (if you've already done this, please correct me, but I didn't hear anything from the video).

"clicking" noises are dwemer spiders

Not sure I follow. I heard the dwemer spider walking the hall. But no sounds were associated with the lights flickering that I could tell.

Sorry misread your comment. Lights do emit sound ( as they do in vanilla game) , you can hear it if you stay close to them. When they blink the sound dissapears.
Some clicking noise can easily be added...

Ok, so the buzz will turn on and off but no new "electric click" noise has been applied. Still looks like a really cool mod, I bet it'll go really well with GDR, thanks qqqbbb.

I've never looked extensively through Hedgehog's replacers. Now I'm curious, what do his dwemer lights look like?
