I am trying to create a new area of an old Dwemer ruin, and I retextured the "act_dwe_cavein00" model from the lavacave texture to the moldcave texture. The end goal was to try to create a mossy rockpile that could be blown up with the standard dwemer satchels (dwemer_satchel00). I added the newly retextured mesh to the game (as act_dwe_cavein01") and applied the cave-in script. However, when I go in game now, I come to the most peculiar issue. I approach with my satchel charge in hand and activate the mesh. The messagebox pops up as normal, asking if I want to place the charge. I do so, and am greeted with the familiar countdown from five to one. However, the moment the timer hits one... nothing. No glorious explosion. No tumbling of rocks. Nothing. It just fizzles out. I can't place another satchel charge on any rockpile this has already happened to.
Thinking it was something simple like orientation or size, I redid all of that and kept it very basic. Still, nothing. Wondering if there was an issue with the script or if I had accidentally changed something, I put the standard act_dwe_cavein00 model in the ruins instead. Worked like a charm. The whole thing exploded beautifully. This tells me that retexturing the model has created some kind of issue, perhaps? I don't know. Is there anyone out there who can help with this? I'd be most appreciative.
