dwemer centurion's never attack me

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 4:05 am

encountered the 4th of those... the very first 1 attacked me but he was controlled by some dugeon boss guy...the other 3 tough in 3 different ruins during 3 different playsessions...naaa they simply walk up to me and try to snuggle with me...but no attack...even if i hit them...they just move up close to cuddle and stand still...? i probably have dwemer ancestors...

also found out that fire is the most effective against dwemer machines (makes no sense imo but well...)

Your lucky, I'd love them to hump my leg instead of attack me, I find them a pain to kill.

I think they're a bit slow. As an archer, I found them a bit too easy to shoot before they got close enough to touch me. This is fine sometimes, but these are meant to be pretty much boss enemies.

I got this problem as well... Since some time now some of them just stay before me without doing anything other than following me... Some will still attack me, but only after i attack them first... something is wrong here...

But i thought about using this to my advantage... i might use a follower Centurion to be my pet and help me in my adventures... hmm.

I play in the mindset of Pokemon, so my brain translates metal into steel and it tells me to use fire on it. However on the spider things I find electric is more effective.

If you fully take one of those steam showers you're dead in master. Of course, killing them is as easy as going melee and bashing them nonstop.

well killing them isnt that hard except your 2h or so... sneaker - easy anyway, master just run away theyre slow, melee - constant shield bash to stagger them...the combat difficulty is not scaled well - you can stagger most enemies so they can't hit you, but when they hit you 1 time your dead...needs improvement

anyway, fire on steel...doesnt make sense??? dont you think steel will be heated very high during the construction....electricity would make sense in terms of destroying their dwemer core, ice would make sense to slow em down...

You obviously haven't played Pokemon before. It would make sense though, if you use fire then cool them down straight away with a blast of some ice magic. Turn those bastards into brittle hunks of metal. :toughninja:

The game has confused the Centurion SFX with that of my character. My character is steaming, and has sparks coming from his hips. Yaaaaaay 1.2 patch.
