So on this my last play-through with Skyrim I decided to NOT put the forge/smelter in the cellar in my Lakeview Manor build. It always bothered me from an RP perspective as it seems like that WOULD KILL YOU. So I just use the one outside. But I did end up building the cellar and finishing it out because I needed a few more weapon racks since you cant have the library AND the armory. I still hate that I cant have BOTH. Anyway so I needed to do SOMETHING with that big empty space in the back cellar room. So I decided a big stone table would be an ideal place to lay those Evil Black Books. So I Googled up the item IDs and after MUCH experimentation and many many attempts I finally got the table positioned pretty good and the angle is about 98% correct with the basemant floor. I used a Mod "Droppable Blackbooks" from the Steam Workshop to allow me to take the 5 tomes from my inventory. Here are a couple of screenshots (I lightened them a up a hair with Photoshop since the cellar lighting is so poor in-game):

So what did you all do with your Black Books? Still lugging them around?

Does anyone know what that area is for in the Lakeview Manor cellar that looks like a sealed off doorway?

edit: Google says it's for a standup coffin for vamps!

That's exactly what it is. If you turn into a vampire then go to the basemant and use the workbench, the option will appear to make a coffin.

Nice work by the way with the dwenmer table. I play on console so I have to envy everyone else's work.
