How many direct translation of Dwemer words do we have? I believe "Volen" = "hammer" and "fell" = "city". There was also that translation from KotN. I'm not talking about the direct mappings in some aprts of Morrowind ( Gary Noonan etc ) but actual lore correct translations. I'm trying to name some of the things in my mod and some actual transaltions would be nice.

The translation from KOTN was Ayleid, not Dwemer.

Yeah the blood script. I thought there was a Dwemer example and an Ayleid example?

Yeah, KoTN is definitely Ayleid.

It's easy to make that mistake, because their alphabets are virtually identical. The only major difference is that the Dwemer alphabet uses a more geometric look, with a lot of straight lines, while the Ayleid one is a lot more curved, with swirly lines. It's like the cursive version.

I think "fell" just means, well, "fell".

Volenfell Is literally where Volderung Fell, in which clan Rourken sought it out and settled the land. It's also why hammerfell is called such.
