Given the nature of the dwemer I'd say Alteration would fit the needs of magical aid used in their every day chores, but generally any magic could be useful. I'm not 100% but I'm pretty sure they don't have their favourite school of magic that we know of. Aside from that the loot should imo be more unique to dwemer apparel and weapory, instead having nordic steel, orcish and other totally illogical stuff they put all over their armories. Daedric shouldn't be non-existent since they probably used Conjuration as well which would give them access to couple of their pieces, just make sure the chance for it's spawning is really rare.
Staves would probably fit, but personally I wouldn't add them because I find the design of staves too nordic but it's entirely up to you. There are likely some resources out there that you could use if you want to.
And, of course, all kinds of gizmos and parts, like cogs, tubes and whatnot. There could be some old oils inside of retextured potion bottles around, and you could add some old looking books that when opened simply say that there's http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Tribunal:Old_Dwemer_Book, like there were in Morrowid. I'd also add some tools like old hammers and wrench-like things since they surely used something like that to put those pipes together and maintain their machines.
For the nordic loot elven gear is an option since some elves were feared among nords and respected for their power. One such elf killed by a nord would surely have his or her weapon branded as a war prize or something. Also, there could be some old coins of some tradable value inside, and gems, ores and ingots made of silver, gold and other valuable materials, and generally other things like that that one could think of as valuable. Real life connection is impossible because there would be much more stuff laying around and chests around some corpses since nords usually buried their dead with their own things and depending on their uh "social" and "financial" status in real life, which would require changing the cells themselves, not just the leveled lists.
