I'm still ashamed I bought this game in the first place. They'd have to do a lot to make me want to pay for a bunch of maps for the bad cod clone they call Crysis 2 Multiplayer

luka.
Before I buy any DLC for multiplayer, there has to be a **** of debugging to do. Some of the stuff in MP I wouldn't even call bugs anymore, just outright coding fails. For instance the troubled unlock system - missing tokens, relocked unlocks, missing unlocks, token overflow. They now even have a Maintenance Night for that, which is what one calls a "workaround". And even that is troubled. But o lordy, this is like a single raindrop on a sunny day compared to the blatantly obvious ingame problems of multiplayer.

Orbital Strike. To name the king of it all first, if I have to explain that, you never played MP and thus bought the DLCs cause it seemed cool to you.

Missing/delayed sounds. If you ever expirienced 3 teammates disappearing right behind you right before you die from an automatic shotgun, it's cause you didn't hear the commotion it made. Well the replay has the sounds from time to time.

Bad hit feedback. Sometimes you don't even notice that you are being shot at until you are dead. Some guy from over the map emptied the whole magazine into you but even though you were in armor mode, the game thought "hey, playing a hitsound or showing bloody screen is sooooooo 2009, I'll just skip that WHOOPS you died".

Bad hit registration. Speaks for itself. I am unsure what exacly causes this, but I bet you emptied a magazine and a half into some guy in armor mode more than once and he lived. Play's a nice manic-chain-rattling-sound though.

I don't judge people who bought the DLC. But before I even consider buying anything MP related for this game, it has to expierience alot of drastic changes. And I only named bugs and even there only some of them. And as for price: I think it's simply overpriced. By far.

So. Since not many of the people who still play C2 MP bought any DLC, I suppose quite a few of them had the same reasoning as I do.
Now go away and be ashamed for suggesting that better graphics are a reason to buy multiplayer content for this game.

When the SB3 comes out this summer I will go Nelson on every one who bought the first DLC. Except creating MP maps for C2 is prohibited of course.

Do you have a sound card or rely on an onboard chip for sound? I have no sound problems with my sound card.

Bad hit feedback and registration, sound like lag. Playing with more than 300 ping is problematic for most games. Delayed sounds are from extreme lag. From people with 400 and above ping or when you have a ping like that.

Lol i can hear everyones footsteps and also i can hear if theyre behind me, no stuttering or missing sound. Hit box is awsome. Its client side hit registration so whenever you hit someone you will instantly know not like a second later when its server side. It all depends now if you lag, it will take you lots of rounds well actually it will take the same but you wont update to the server fast enough that you shot him 6 times so thats why it makes an illusion of having to use all clip to kill it...
