Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 1:13 pm

Which subject download in the upcoming patch will give the better graphics and experience to crysis 2. i want to justify if i should upgrade to windows 7 64 bit because i only have vista 32 bit for the texture download. my pc can handle DX11 just fine though.

You should upgrade to 64 bit as soon as u can. Nvm the game requireing 64 bit for HD pack... Upgrade to 64bit when u can.

It makes better use of memory when apps are in 64bit but like most things there are pros and cons.

You will notice no real difference in real world usage other than the fact that the x64 OS can utilise much more than the c.3GB that a 32 bit OS can. So it comes down to the question - how much do you wanna play Crysis 2 with HD textures.

Well, there are not many reasons why you shouldn't use 64bit if you have a modern CPU and lots of memory. Drivers could be an issue but a lot of vendors support 64bit now. AMD64 or newer or a EMT64 Intel CPU.

If you have less than 4GB RAM, upgrading to 64bit doesn't make much sense....
