I Agree with Wo_oT , stop asking for the damn DX11. Its not going to radically change the game. Its pathetic how suddenly you get a patch and now everything is ok. The game still sux, a patch will not change that.
No one said everything would suddenly be OK, and the concept of the game "still sux" is your opinion, and not one that is shared among everyone.
The fact of the matter is, people want DX11 support, the current DX support of the game is a step backwards. Yes, I think it still looks good for what it is and I still like the game, however I do not own a state of the art high end gaming system to play games that are taking a step backwards technologically or play a crippled console port.
So yes, I am looking forward to seeing what the game will look like with DX11 support. Of course, a lot will depend on what level of support they give it. I simply expect a game of this magnitude to actually be able to use modern PC gaming technology. Crysis was a PC game, inferior console hardware be damned, so when Crysis 2 came out being held back by console/PC co-development, many people were understandably upset.
I can see why they did it, money. A fact of business is there is a lot of money to be made on consoles. The other fact is that PC gamers are suffering with technologically inferior console games as a result. This is the perfect example.
So I think a DX11 patch will change a lot. It will set the PC version apart from the console. I know dozens of people who are waiting on the patch before they will buy the game. So yeah, I think more will change than you think. Assuming the patch is well received and what people are expecting, such as having access to advanced graphic options in game. We will just have to wait and see what happens.
