Bonjour,

Google translate : (sorry)

Finally the directX 11 arrives...
I find that inadmissible that one such studio of this scale did not take(bring) out a compatible directX game(set, play) 11 from its exit(release), especially that cards graph compatible are not current!!!

This say, good job the developers, this time, this crysis is better scheduled(programmed) (not as the former(ancient))

Level graphics(handwritting), you put this Black Ops of **** on the ground and I am very satisfied with it!!!!
Your real competitor will be Battlefield 3!!

Epic!, I hope the annoyingly small draw distance gets fixed in this patch too, I keep seeing stuff just appearing in front of me all the time which almost makes me think its an enemy de-cloaking. This is with the highest graphics setting on a decent graphics card (Nvidia gtx560 ti)

I'm pretty sure they'll release DX11 patch with a couple of bug fixes along with it.

I dont quite see the DX11 fuzz. It won't make changes to the gameplay what so ever. Invisible walls in the water and linear landscape won't be updated with a mere technical upgrade.

This is great news, And im one of those pc gamers that was crushed that this game, thought to be dx11, was only dx9 . Well i guess im kinda over that ,Seeing how I've already played it anyway . Anymore my issue is online gameplay ! Is everyone hacking on this game or what ? Just seems strange that if someone starts shooting you and you max jump to dodge it, that in the killcam watching yourself get shot in mid air by a completly Smooth follow from their gun, like its auto or something. And just about everyone has this ability ....... Yet i have ran fraps to watch myself shoot and kill and my crosshairs jump all over . It's made the multiplayer completley un-playable .....Is this just the diffrence between console and pc ? And if so, why cant crytec put another filter in for just pc players ? IDK but something needs done, Maybe some real anti-cheat?

I can't be sure on this but everything I've read , All the rumors are that it's only a dx11 patch. They are skipping 10 altogether..... Again i could be wrong !

I think it would be completely useless, the game is out, the singleplayer is finished, the multi halfway trough, dx 11 wont make any noticable difference in gameplay, but 2 bugfixing patches will

whew! Finally everyone can relax!

Now I might pick up that HD 6970 I was planning on :)

and for everyone who is saying that it will make no visual difference, maybe you don't remember the major visual upgrade for Far Cry that Crytek busted out by implimenting shader model 3.0 and HDR back in 2004 (was trying to find the screenshot comparisons but couldn't find any that were still online, lol). Of course there's no guarantee that it will change the game visually, but in my eyes even if it utilizes dx11 to provide a smoother framerate, or better AA quality etc. then it's a bonus.

According to an anonymous trusted source, Crytek only started to develop for DirectX 11 in November 2010 and was unable to get it ready in time for the game's launch earlier this month.

The source also claimed that DirectX 10 will not be supported in future, as it's rendered obsolete by DirectX 11.

so all the advertising promotion and such was false

this game never intended to have dx11 at release.

showing new graphics cards with dx 11 and playing this game is just misleading it never runned on dx11 only dx9.

what a false misleading way to sell a product..

We are working to get the best out of DX11, so we’ll wait to announce the features until a little closer to release.
Having a real DX11 game at a later time is better than a quick "DX11 sause". I'm looking foreward for a "Crysis version" of Crysis 2.
