Okay, a High-Res texture pack is overdoing it. I mean think about all the textures in the game.

You know what would go great with DX11? 64-bit and Sandbox 3

Eish. Althought its great news, and thats what everyone asked for... confirmation, i am already obsessively checking these forums, and now its just going to be worse.

No really, i have a script refresing the page every 5 seconds, and displaying this on a alert monitor next to my pc while i play games.
Wow. You do realize that DX11 does zero for gameplay, and really is just to make the visuals look slightly better, and hopefully perhaps get a little better performance at the same time. So is it really THAT important in the grand scheme of things that you feel the need to have a script?

I just do not get some people's obsession with DX11. Yes, I will also definitely enjoy checking the game out in DX11, but the fact it did not ship with it had absolutely no ill affect whatsoever and me enjoying the game, and for that matter continuing to enjoy the game.

I just do not get it, and I am not new to PC gaming at all.

We would like to announce that there will be a DX11 patch released for Crysis 2. We are working to get the best out of DX11, so we’ll wait to announce the features until a little closer to release.

Yeah, yeah, yeah...nice. BUT WTF, WILL YOU FIX MULTIPLAYER CONNECTION ISSUES OR NOT?
