good news
REALLY? Do you think that a DX11 patch is a good new? Good news would be Crytek to announce that their next patch would ALLOW PC GAMERS to change graphical settings independently, such as textures, water, antialiasing, blur intensity, shades, particles, and so on, and so on!! DX11 patch will be available and... PROBABLY with no graphical options, which is BAD!!!
What about this, huh?!
There is already a community made app to change all the settings you were used to seeing in Crysis one.
Fine tuned or not Tesselation or whatever is not going to improve this game for me , There is so much more missing from the Crysis world and its clear this Is now a console franchise. Sure they can polish the graphics more , there might even be some texture packs and asset improvments and the like But its still just to much of a constricted game , the sum of its parts pale in comparison to the Original that i loved so much .
Complete disconnection from Crysis 1 Alien design didnt impress me much as well.
As most multi port games are now designed completely around Current console tech there will be less and less use of larger side of PC resources. Sure shiny is nice but its total package that makes for something I want to play again , Or in this case, At all. There are some good games in this "new multiport genre " that ive played so far and im excited for some to come .
Duke Nukem , yet another multi port game I think will Destroy this title in the fun factor .. There is nothing the cry engine can do that ive seen so far that isnt already being done , or recently Been done and a whole lot better , on other engines.
