I come in here and check every day, but no, there is never any new information. Launching a game before its finished is such a huge fail. I believe that we deserve an answer as to why this was allowed to happen.
stop hating and writing such a ****. the game has been finished but everyone started to cry cuz there wasn't a DX11-"support" the game has been finished and pimping out the graphic is just a feature
Not when a lot of features are simply broken. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Crysis 2 probably as much as you do, but you gotta admit, there are features that just don't work. For the first 3 weeks, people with pirated copies could play online because there was NO serial key protection (entering in ANY serial let you play online, even fake serials)
Plus people's XP weren't saving, and multi-GPU owners were completely screwed (flickering in-game). The ones who were totally screwed no matter what were the people who owned "single-card" "multi" GPU's, for instance, the 9800GX2. It's "one" card, but it's got two cards built in, without external programs like nHancer, you can't force one GPU off.
You're right, DX-11 support is just a feature, and although it was promised at the beginning of development, CryTek DID let its consumers know before launch that it would arrive as a patch.
Nonetheless, this game's features are still broken and CryTek needs to fix them. They're not obligated to communicate with their fanbase (though this would definitely be nice, I would like answers too).
Just saying. Troll away.
