I prefer Dynamic Weather. I prefer constantly changing weather, and the rain from Enhanced Weather kills my framerates, even on my relatively high end system.

I always liked the greenish tint, that's why it's Dynamic Weather for me. Using Fellout always dragged me out of the atmosphere, I simply don't want the game to be realistic in this area. Still, Fellout is a great weather mod, too, it's just not my cup of tea.

Dynamic Weather requires enhanced wearher to work does it not?

so its really down to DW Vs Fellout.

I used to use fellout, but I tried DW and just love the rain.

They're two mods aiming to do different things.

I can respect what DW is doing but at the end of the day, we're doing different things. Fellout is a lore-friendly realism mod - The Fallout and Fallout 2 atmosphere is recovered with Fellout, Bethesda's strange green fetish (had this with Oblivion too) is removed. Fellout is a "de-greener". If you don't want that, then DW is probably what you want.

My advice is to try both. See which fits in best for you. Fellout is phenomenally popular (the only mod ever to knock FOMM off the #1 spot in the top 100) but there's a lot of people who don't like it and who might like something a bit different.

Edit: I worked pretty closely with skingrad24 when he was making Enhanced Weather, so you'll be noticing rain quite a bit when Fellout is working with EW. It does, as posted above, come down to DW vs Fellout, as both can work with Enhanced Weather to give rain.

I also do not have a lot of respect for this "VS" sort of deal in this topic. I don't feel like it's fair to either mod to put them up like this, as though they are boxers on HBO or something.

It's not something I'm too keen on, but it is how many players see two conflicting mods, a "which is better" when the answer really is "neither". I don't like it, but I can live with it.

I do not intended to make a "box match" about the two mod, i just wanted to see who is playing with Fellout and who is playing with Dynamic Weather, and why. I just wanted opinions, im sorry if the title is offensive to anyone.

Well, I think this thread would have worked better without the poll, to be honest, because a lot of people have viewed, some people have voted and even less have left their views on "which is better". The way I'm reading that poll, is as some kind of support for the underdog (ie. uh, me!) which is encouraging :) but you only need to go over to the nexus to see which has the more votes/downloads (even then, Fellout has been out a considerably longer amount of time than Dynamic Weather).

It seems to me though, that users of either mod come from different gaming backgrounds. Users of Fellout would appear to have been players of other bethesda games (Oblivion, etc). You can see it in their screenshots - green trees, bright clear sunny skies, beautiful characters, etc. While in stark contrast (and as a prime example), I myself have just finished running around the exclusion zone in Stalker (Call of Pripyat). That's the way it seems to me, anyway.

Ultimately, it comes down to your ideas of how post-apocalyptia would look, and thankfully, with Fallout 3 being so moddable you have a choice.
