Eager or reluctant hero?

Post » Sat Oct 15, 2011 5:22 am

My character will feel like he didn't "ask" to be Dragonborn and doesn't really want to save everyone. He will take his time about it, taking care of his own needs first. How will yours feel about the whole Dragonborn thing?

Very reluctant. Former bandit and mercenary who just wants to be left alone, but also wishing to find redemption for a lifetime of bad choices. I will try to roleplay him and hope that he will find himself dragged into events as he won't go willingly.

Don't care much either way.... She won't care much about helping everyone, but she knows she has a task to fulfill as dragonborn.

A nice trade as a travelling healer and alchemist, who wants to go off fighting dragons? My character will have to get married, and spend time playing tag with the children, before she feels the world has anything worth risking her neck for.

Will take time to accept his responsibility.

Has a strong sense of right and wrong and is very driven by what he feels is morally correct, but at first will rise the ranks in the guilds, earning money and settling in Skyrim before coming to the conclusion that Tamriel needs him, and the only person that can save it is him....

Mine will be happy to help, since he'll get fame and fortune out of it. Not to mention glory if I play a Nord, a Imperial or a Dunmer.

he will get married LIKE A BOSS!!
he will join guilds LIKE A BOSS
he will kill dragons LIKE A BOSS!!
he won't fast travel LIKE A BOSS!!
he won't use carriages LIKE A BOSS!!

I will be a hero that has a nasty streak. Basically how I played Oblivion. If nice people need my help I'll help them if evil people need my help I'll ignore them. However I will commit theft and murder quite regularly.

My first character will be reluctant, and might decide not to save the world at all depending on how compelling the main questline is.

What? After escaping execution my character won't just place himself in harms way again. Talking from my point of view I would never save the world unless I was affected aswell.

My first character (after a half dozen restarts) will be a Nord hero who want to save the land.

After that the characters that follow will take many different paths.

Somewhere between reluctant and indifferent. My character is not so concerned about saving the world as much as having a grand adventure. If the world happens to be saved along the way, so much the better.

Eldemvaar cannot recall his past, he hasn't the slightest idea he was meant to expel the dragons. He knows he was meant to do something, this might be it.

He'll respect the beliefs of those he lives with, and accept the title of dragonborn for the sake of bringing joy to his parents and village. He'll play out his destiny with no problem - and will be glad to die to save the entire planet. When you're raised on the glory of the battle, being told you need to defeat a god is literally the best possible thing you could hear. Alduin, come and get me [censored]!

I usually play a neutral character, since I prefer to play one character only when I RP and sometimes I feel like doing different actions. My Dovahkiin does want to stop Alduin from eating the world though.
