Great around the time I am able to fall asleep for a few hours, guess who is saving their sleep pills now for a double dosing mid day on the 29th! This guy :bonk:

I got mine from gamestop, and it said in the email 5 days early access. That was the physical Imperial Edition though, maybe that makes a difference?

OT: 7am huh? Not sure if I want to stay up until then or try to wake up early. Haven't woken up that early in like... 7 years.

10PM on a Sunday for me is really inconvenient for me unfortunately, I'd have to go to work the next morning so I probably will choose to shrug it off until I get home from work and then join in.

I bought the Imperial Edition from Get Games, and have five days. I think Imperial Edition = 5 days, Explorer Edition (or what it was they called it) = 3 days?

They probably aren't, but crunch time around the release of a major game title (or major software product generally) is a known phenomenon in the industry, so I doubt that it will make much of a difference to the employees.

Wouldn't that have necessitated separate servers for each timezone?

Not necessarily, it just means those who live in different timezone get to start playing it on different time but same server.

And why not just use GMT is beyond me, may as well have used Zulu time to really confuse people!

BST (British Summer Time/Daylight Saving) kicks in March 30th with the clocks going forward 1 hour, so UK start time will be 1pm.

@Zerlathon I agree it is a challenge to get all chores done before EA...It's good though as I probably wouldn't have done half the chores I've done otherwise :P

I didn't take that into account, you're right. They should have just used GMT.

Call it what you will though, I'll be calling it ESGT (Elder Scrolls Gaming Time)

Not so bad - 10pm AEST on Sunday night.

Makes for a very long day, hopefully the initial hours upon release will be kind
