Early unfinished version of Crysis 2 appears on Torrent site

ExildMan : WAKE UP !!! You really think the honks read this forum and after that do the download ? They just click the link of the torrent. And maybe you should think about freedom of speech.

The only thing i can do with this mess, i here state, that i will not take part in that crime. I don't know if i have the money to buy the game, because i have no job right now, but i will go on playing the older games until i can afford the new one. It was always a fair price for incredible fun. I pay for gas, my cigarettes and beer and will do pay for the game.

Not when there is a company that is facing the worst crysis yet.And the freedom of speech is going to get thier asses banned,if they post any unwanted info that might hamper the game for others.

Perhaps you should stop paying for cigarettes and beer and pick up better habits? Just throwing it out there.

I thought about what I did, and then I did it anyway. It won't harm Crytek one bit because I'm already buying the game.

Hey guys!

We really appreciate the support from many of you who are just as disappointed from this incident as we are. One main point i'd like to make is that this is an old, buggy, unfinished build and does in no way represent the quality of the final game. By playing this you are only spoiling the experience for yourself. Many people are justifying this piracy as a way to 'check if the game will run' on their systems well there's two points i'd like to raise there; 1) there is a PC demo coming that is designed to do just that and 2) it's an old build and again, does not represent final quality/performance.

As we take a firm stance on piracy, i must remind you all that anyone advocating or admitting to piracy will be dealt with swiftly and harshly. Those of you that have shown restraint, thank you. Again, we really appreciate the support and one way you guys can truly support Crytek is by pre-ordering (not a sales pitch, just general fact) the game.

Cheers.

PLease hurry up with the demo I can't take this temptation lol seriously!

No, this should stay up. But honestly the OP is a failure. This has nothing to do with pc-piracy or hackers when its clear that an employee leaked the game. Crytek is lucky enough that this employee atleast had the heart to lock out most of the levels of the Singleplayer and DX11, its obvious that whoever leaked this from Crytek did so as some form of rogue demo, and its obvious that Crytek as a whole doesn't support this so don't go conspiracy theory on me. ^-^

The entire situation can be salvaged if they release the PC multiplayer demo soon.

Well, don't blame the PC community. Console games get leaked way before release too. Just look at the last two Halo games. They were both leaked in the summer before their release. If you want to pin the blame on someone, pin it on the employee that leaked it. A developer beta build of a game is not something that just appears on torrent sites

Hey,what the reason for leak? Bad web-page protection? So why you upload build of Crysis 2 on any site hacker can crack? You can't keep it on your PCs? Or hackers brake your PCs? So strange... But anyway that fact isnt make me happy...

it was necessary to release the demo version earlier rather than wait until the full game will be stolen.
